2p! Iceland is a fan interpretation of the Hetalia character as "Another Color". He has a fairly accepted personality and somewhat accepted appearance within the fandom.

The most common human name given to him is Egil Steilsson, despite this not being an actual Icelandic name. Egill would be more authentic. Eirikur is also used, though less commonly.

Appearance

2p! Iceland's appearance varies depending on the depiction. He is shown to be physically similar to his counterpart, though with many color differences.

2p! Iceland is often depicted with blonde hair, sometimes with purple undertones, though it can also be silver, black, or beige. His eyes are usually red, but sometimes depicted as blue or beige. He generally has pale skin.

He usually wears a red coat, black shirt and skinny jeans. He may wear a black turtleneck instead. He is sometimes drawn casually wearing spikey gloves. He has red and white shoes, and, in some depictions, he has an eyepatch covering his right eye.

Personality

2p! Iceland has no official personality. Fans of Hetalia have created personalities for the 2p! characters, some more widely accepted than others. Common and well-known depictions are listed below.

General Personality

• He is cheerful and optimistic. He's very friendly and loves to hang out with the other Nordics. He can be overly silly at times.
• He is naïve and generally clueless.
• He can be somewhat of a yandere with those he cares about.

Specific Traits and Quirks

• He is obsessed with the occult like 1p! Norway.
• He may hate puffins and wants to kill all of them off, usually by eating them. These violent feelings usually don't extend towards 2p! Mr. Puffin, but to 1p! Mr. Puffin, but in some depictions, he has already killed and eaten his companion.
• He has depression, anxiety, and/or PTSD. He has also been alluded to having borderline personality disorder.
• He loves chocolate.

Relationships

2p! Iceland's relationships depend on the person making the story. Common and well-known depictions are listed below.

• 2p! Kugelmugel - 2p! Kugelmugel doesn't really like 2p! Iceland, due to his hyperactive nature.
• 2p! Norway - He loves his brother and isn't afraid to show it, unlike his counterpart. He calls him "big brother" openly. The two of them are very close.

Pets

There are a few nations who have pets, animal companions, or mythical companions. Often, these are not translated as a "Player 2". However, there are a few interpretations in the fandom which do use these companions. Some depictions may even give them entirely original pets.

• 2p! Mr. Puffin - 2p! Mr. Puffin, unlike his counterpart, is more gentlemanly and does not curse. He speaks in a rich high class manner. He may be wearing a top hat and a monocle. He has a thick English accent according to others, sometimes it's heavy Icelandic. Other interpretations include that of a sweet schoolgirl. He stutters and frequently calls people "senpai" and says "uwaaa!!!" almost like a verbal tick.

1p! Iceland vs. 2p! Iceland

• 1p! Iceland is standoffish and may not express his true feelings. 2p! Iceland is very friendly and expresses his love openly, even to the point of yandere obsession.
• 1p! Iceland loves licorice. 2p! Iceland loves chocolate instead.
• 1p! Iceland has a strained relationship with 1p! Norway. 2p! Norway and 2p! Iceland have a very close relationship.

Common 2p! Traits

It is common for 2p!s to be portrayed as violent and obsessive. To most, they are a darker version of the original nations. However, because the original nations can be portrayed in the same way by the fandom, how much hold this has depends on the person making the story, artwork, or cosplay.

Some portrayals give him a sickle or a scythe as a weapon. He can be portrayed as a yandere. He can break into other people's homes without them noticing.
