2p! Rome is a fan interpretation of the Hetalia character as "Another Color". His character is not very well-known in the fandom.

The most common human names for him are Remus, Romulus, and Caligula. Lucius, Augustus, and Heimfried have also been used. Vargas may sometimes be used for a surname.

Appearance

2p! Rome is shown to be physically similar to his counterpart, though with many color differences.

2p! Rome has the same wavy, unkempt hair style as his 1p!, but it's darker than his counterpart's and is often given a reddish tint. Unlike his counterpart, his face is clean-shaven. His eyes are usually depicted as being red. He is sometimes given darker skin.

Most versions of him depict him either in armor or in a black or gray toga with a red or tan robe over the top.

Personality

2p! Rome has no official personality. Fans of Hetalia have created personalities for the 2p! characters, some more widely accepted than others. Common and well-known depictions are listed below.

General Personality

• He greatly enjoys conquest and being well-known. He is egotistical and proud, deeming himself to be superior to everyone else. As such, he loves to talk about his glory days to feel like he is someone strong.
• He is a very serious man who doesn't take much time for love. He will hurt others for his own benefit.
• He is down-to-earth, despite his brutish nature. Still, he can be unreliable at times.

Specific Traits and Quirks

• He knows why he fell from power, but will become aggressive when asked about it.
• He enjoys things such as fighting, art (specifically gore art), food, and, occasionally, sex.
• He likes to drink, and is depicted as a gruff drunk.

Relationships

2p! Rome's relationships depend on the person making the story. Common and well-known depictions are listed below.

• 2p! Italy, 2p! Romano, & 2p! Seborga - He exploits his grandchildren and tries to turn them into exact replicas of himself. When they were young, he would force them to fight to preserve their lineage's honor. This has put a lot of strain on their relationship with him.
• 2p! Germania - The two are close friends, though 2p! Germania may sometimes get on 2p! Rome's nerves. They are sometimes depicted as having a one sided friendship, usually with 2p! Rome not wanting to be around 2p! Germania, though it is sometimes the other way around. They are often shipped together as well.

1p! vs. 2p! Rome

• 1p! Rome is very flirtatious, while 2p! Rome cares very little for romance.
• 1p! Rome doesn't understand why he fell from power, while 2p! Rome does.

Common 2p!Traits

It is common for 2p!s to be portrayed as obsessive and violent. To most, they are a darker version of the original nations. However, because the original nations can be portrayed in the same way by the fandom, how much hold this has depends on the person making the story, artwork, or cosplay.

2p! Rome fits this stereotype well. He loves to fight in wars and uses a lot of traditional Roman weapons to fight.
